Answers you need

Everything you need to know, explained simply.

What is the difference between Touch Display and No Display?

Touch Display - available now. A 5-inch touch display on the unit, socket or socket with shutter, in white or black. The premium choice where drivers interact with the charger directly.

No Display - from Q4 2026. Compact, with an LED status strip instead of a screen, and also available as a fixed cable. Bidirectional metering makes it ready for V2H and V2G.

What does Eichrecht MID Class C billing mean?

Calibrated to +/-0.5%. MID Class C is more accurate than the common Class B, and Eichrecht certification meets the strict German calibration-law requirements for billing by the kWh.

Visible meter display. The meter reading is visible from outside the unit, which regulated public and workplace billing schemes require.

Is it really V2G ready?

ISO15118-20 onboard. It ships with ISO15118-20 hardware for bidirectional charging. The No Display version adds bidirectional metering, so it is ready for V2H and V2G when your car and contract are.

Plug & Charge today. ISO15118-2/3 Plug & Charge works now - drive up, plug in, and billing is handled securely without tapping a card.

How tough is it, and how does it install?

IP65, IK10, -40 degrees C. Rated IP65 and IK10 and tested from -40 degrees C to +55 degrees C, with temperature sensors on all main contacts and anti-theft detection with a permanent cable lock.

Clean install. A backplate with a screw terminal block (typically 6 mm2 for 32A) and rear cable entry. TN, TT and IT grids are supported.

How does it connect and stay updated?

OCPP 1.6j and 2.0.1. Speaks both OCPP 1.6j and 2.0.1, plus a REST API via Plugchoice, so it works with modern backoffices and is ready for what comes next.

Always online. Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, Cat4 4G with a 10-year SIM, RJ45 and RS485. Connected to Plugchoice even without customer Wi-Fi.
