Should I choose a socket or fixed cable?
For home, go with a cable
Even if you think it looks less elegant, a fixed cable is simply more practical. Grab it each morning, plug in, done. No fumbling with a separate cable. It saves you time every single day.
Semi-public? Choose a socket
For shared parking spots or locations where multiple cars might charge, a socket offers more flexibility. Each user brings their own cable.
How fast can I charge at home?
Typically 11kW (16A)
Most homes have a 25A main fuse. Your installer will typically set the charger to 16A for safety margin, delivering about 11kW of charging power.
Up to 22kW with smart charging
With Dynamic Load Balancing enabled, you could safely charge at higher speeds when your home isn't using much power. The charger automatically adjusts to maximize speed without tripping your fuse.
Does it work with my solar panels?
Yes, all brands supported
Our chargers work with any solar panel system. We measure your main fuse, not the panels themselves, so it's the excess solar power that matters, not which brand you have.
Automatic solar balancing
Enable Solar Balancing to automatically charge when you have excess solar power. Your EV becomes a smart battery that uses free energy from your roof.
Can I install the charger myself?
We recommend a professional
While technically possible, we strongly recommend having a certified electrician handle the installation. They ensure everything is safe and compliant.
Want to save costs?
You can prepare the groundwork yourself by running cables and digging trenches, then let a professional do the final connection and commissioning. That way you have a point of contact if anything goes wrong.
Can I reimburse energy costs with my employer?
