Can I daisy-chain multiple Two Pro chargers?
Daisy-chain up to 6 Two Pros from a single AC feed, and up to 15 chargers on one Ethernet bus. Each unit has built-in 2x 40A RCBO protection, so no extra switchgear is needed per charger.
Cable entry points at the top, bottom and rear give you maximum flexibility. A dedicated AC OUT terminal next to AC IN, sized for 25 mm² solid-core through M40 glands, keeps the loop tidy. Use flat ribbon cable (vlakbandkabel) for the cleanest run inside the backplate.
The Two Pro mounts onto a separate steel backplate that is fixed to the wall first. AC IN, AC OUT and Ethernet wire into the backplate before the charger is clicked on, so installers can stage the wiring without holding the unit, and a single charger can be swapped or serviced without re-pulling the feed.
What does AFIR compliance mean for my installation?
The Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) requires public and semi-public charging points to display pricing and allow ad-hoc payment. Two Pro's touch display with dynamic QR codes meets these requirements.
AFIR requirements are being rolled out across Europe. Installing AFIR-compliant chargers now means you won't need to retrofit or replace hardware when regulations tighten in your region.
How does billing work with the MID meters?
Each socket has its own MID Class B certified meter with less than 1% accuracy. This means you can bill per socket independently, with legally compliant energy measurements.
Use OCPP 1.6j to connect to any billing backend. Plugchoice's Proxy feature makes it easy to integrate with your preferred charge point operator or billing platform.
What connectivity options are available?
Every Two Pro ships with 4G LTE connectivity (10-year SIM included), WiFi 2.4GHz, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. Use whichever fits your infrastructure best.
Underground parking? Use Ethernet. Outdoor lot? 4G has you covered. The charger automatically maintains connection and buffers transactions when connectivity drops.
What about maintenance and servicing?
Two Pro is rated IP54 and IK10, built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. There are no moving parts and no consumables to replace.
If an RCBO trips, simply open the lateral service window and reset it. No need to open the charger or call an electrician. It's designed for facility managers, not just technicians.
